 According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the rupee depreciated sharply by Rs2.55 to hit an all-time low of Rs210.3 against the dollar from Friday's close of Rs207.75. In the open market the greenback was trading at Rs212 as of 10:30am.  Three flight incidents were reported from different states on Sunday. A SpiceJet aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at the Bihta Airforce Station in Patna after the flight's left wing caught fire. All 185 passengers are reportedly safe. Airport sources said that the flight was a Boeing 727. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that a bird hit led to the failure of Engine 1 on the Patna-Delhi SpiceJet aircraft. All 185 passengers were evacuated safely. During rotation, the cockpit crew suspected a bird hit Engine 1. Since the crew did not observe any abnormality, the aircraft continued to climb further.   New Delhi:  With the protests against the new military recruitment scheme spreading to eight states, the government today announced 10 per cent reservation for 'Agniveers' in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles. The Ministry of Home Affairs also announced three years' age relaxation beyond the prescribed upper age limit to Agniveers for recruitment in the two paramilitary forces. In a court filing late Wednesday, the company initiated Chapter 11 proceedings to manage its debt, which it said stood between $1 billion and $10 billion. Revlon, known for its signature nail polish and lipstick, reported long-term liabilities of $3.3 billion in the first quarter. "Today's filing will allow Revlon to offer our consumers the iconic products we have delivered for decades, while providing a clearer path for our future growth," CEO Debra Perelman said in a statement.
